Tusker Oktobafest entertained Nairobi revellers with three days of live music and beer at Covo in Kahawa Sukari, as the nationwide festival continued its tour of different towns across Kenya.
The event, held from Friday, October 23, to Sunday, October 25, 2026, brought together music lovers and beer enthusiasts for performances by Kenyan artistes and DJs, following previous editions in Eldoret, Nanyuki and Mombasa.
The festival opened on Friday, with DJ Lisney and Brian the DJ providing entertainment as MC Jose hosted the evening’s activities.
Saturday’s programme featured performances by Willy Paul, Baze to Billboardz music group and Keteh, adding to the weekend’s entertainment lineup.
Njerae and Codeblack DJs took centre stage on Sunday, bringing the Kahawa Sukari edition to a close with a showcase of local music and diverse sounds.

Organised by Kenya Breweries Limited (KBL), the festival offered free entry, giving attendees an opportunity to enjoy live performances while sampling products from the brewer’s portfolio, which includes lagers, stouts, ciders and malts.
Speaking after the event, KBL Marketing Manager Rediet Yigezu said the turnout and atmosphere at Covo demonstrated how music and culture can bring people together.
“The energy and enthusiasm witnessed at Covo, Kahawa Sukari, reflect the power of music and culture in bringing people together. Through Tusker Oktobafest, we set out to take the festival experience closer to our consumers across different regions, while celebrating the richness of Kenyan talent and the diversity of our local music scene. Following successful stops in Eldoret, Nanyuki and Mombasa, the Kahawa Sukari edition further reinforces our commitment to creating memorable experiences around our beer portfolio that celebrate our local culture, champion local artists and bring people together through shared passions,” Yigezu said.
The festival will continue with more events in different parts of the country in November.
The next stop is scheduled for 1922 in Mombasa on November 1, followed by Nebraska in Ugunja on November 7. Space Next Door in Nakuru will host the festival on November 14, before Big Tree in Mombasa stages the November 21 edition.

Beyond the live entertainment, KBL said consumers could access flash sales and exclusive discounts on selected products through supermarkets and participating e-commerce partners.
Now in its seventh year, Tusker Oktobafest was launched in 2019 to celebrate local culture through beer, music and homegrown entertainment. The festival features brands including Tusker Lager, Tusker Malt, Tusker Lite, Tusker Cider, Guinness, Balozi, Manyatta, WhiteCap, WhiteCap Crisp and Pilsner.
Through its nationwide programme, the festival continues to provide a platform for Kenyan performers while taking its entertainment experience to audiences in different regions.
